In opening a Help to Buy account with Lloyds Bank, you must be eligible for the account. Check your eligibility and if you qualify, proceed to visit a branch to open an account or apply online. If you are already a Lloyds client, you can proceed to open an account online. You are eligible to open an account only if you qualify for the terms below:
- a resident in the UK (for tax purposes)
- 16 yrs of age or over
- a first-time buyer saving for your first home
To register and become an account holder, you have to:
- Open account in your name
- Open account with funds between £1 and £1,000
- Make sure your account receives funds in 21 days after opening
